MoonRise Hotel

Slated to open in the first quarter of 2009, the Moonrise Hotel will add a whole new dimension to the St. Louis hospitality realm. Conveniently located at 6177 Delmar Boulevard, in the engaging and eclectic Loop neighborhood, the Moonrise Hotel will offer guests a unique luxury hotel experience.

With 125 guest rooms, 10 suites and 2,000 square feet of meeting space, the Moonrise will be the area’s first full-service boutique hotel. In many ways the Moonrise Hotel is “the anti-chain,” and the brainchild of creative guru and Loop developer, Joe Edwards. Together with locally-based hotel experts, Lodging Hospitality Management, Edwards has crafted a hospitality experience that embraces the unconventional while delivering the comfort and style discriminating guests expect.

Located just steps from The Pageant concert night club and the heart of the Loop’s vast shopping and entertainment district, the seven-story hotel incorporates façade elements of the historic building that once stood on the lot. The hotel’s sophisticated, contemporary design will blend first class amenities with some unexpected, quirky touches and signature features. From the iridescent lobby wall that constantly changes color, to the dramatically angled lobby staircase, this is a hotel for guests who like to have fun.

Each well-appointed, spacious guest room will feature premium amenities such as pillow-top beds, down duvets, flat-screen televisions, top-mount bowl sinks, iPod docking stations and handcrafted “moonlights” (nightlights). Guests will be able to enjoy gorgeous views of the St. Louis skyline from the hotel’s roof-top terrace bar as well as elegant meals at the upscale Eclipse restaurant.

The hotel’s central location, and its proximity to the Delmar Loop Station MetroLink, will make it simple for guests to get to nearby Clayton and Washington University, as well as the Central West End and Downtown.
