Green Ball - April 26, 2013

Green Ball is the cornerstone of Moonrise Hotel’s sustainability initiatives. This annual rite of spring brings people together to celebrate all things GREEN, with proceeds benefiting the EarthWays Center, a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Kentucky Derby Party - May 4, 2013
3:00PM - 7:00PM (free admission)

Fabulous hats and sundresses for the ladies. Seersucker and straw hats for the gentlemen. Mint juleps galore and great prizes. “The” St. Louis event not to miss. Expect the paparazzi!

50 Shades of GAY - June 1, 2013
9:00PM - 2:00AM (free admission)

Come celebrate with pride the huge diversity of people in the LBGT community. You don’t have to do drag by any means but it would surely add a lot to the party! Shows, dancing, pink drink specials and of course a gay ol’ time. The event is being held in The New Moon Room, the 8th floor rooftop all-season event space with killer views.

Garbage Bag Gala - A Benefit for the STL Salvation Army - July 26, 2013
7:00PM - 11:00PM

All proceeds from the event go to the Salvation Army. Experience the annual event that always makes the news. You won’t believe the fashion show which is all clothing made from garbage bags and recycled materials couture to silly. Visit the St. Louis Salvation Army website for ticket purchases.

Dog Days of Summer Event - a benefit for the Stray Rescue of STL - August 11, 2013
12:00PM - 4:00PM

Join us on the Moonrise Rooftop Terrace for an afternoon with your furry friends. All ticket proceeds will go to the Stray Rescues of St. Louis no kill shelter. $45 per person includes admittance, summer hors d’oeuvres and 2 adult beverages. Please bring your pet. Dogs must be on leashes and cats on leashes or in a carrying crate.

The Great Forest Park Balloon Race - September 21, 2013
3:00PM

What a view from the Rooftop Terrace and the New Moon Room. Balloons generally start the race at 4:45PM but we’re going to start the party at 3:00PM. No cover charge and offering some great drink specials.

The Pumpkin Carve & Glow Event - October 26, 2013
3:00PM - 6:00PM

This annual Moonrise event kicks off the fall holiday season in spooky style. The Moonrise Hotel courtyard is filled with ghoulish delight and Halloween merriment for kids of all ages. Complimentary pumpkins will be provided along with carving tools. Judging starts at 5:30PM with prize in various categories.
